Milk Before 7 is a local milk delivery service in Derby. This policy covers this website, www.milkbefore7.co.uk. If you have a question about it, use our contact page.
What we collect, and why
When you write to us. If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, topic, message and, if you choose to give it, your phone number. We use it to reply to you and to put right anything that has gone wrong. We keep it only as long as we need it to deal with your message, and a reasonable time after in case you write back.
When you check your postcode. The postcode checker sends the postcode you type to postcodes.io, a free public postcode service, so it can tell us which district and council ward the address is in. We do not store the postcode and we do not link it to you. postcodes.io has its own privacy policy on its website.
When you order. Orders, accounts and payments are handled on our shop at shop.milkbefore7.co.uk, which runs on Shopify. What the shop collects is explained in the shop privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It only sets the small files it needs to work, if any. If we add analytics or advertising later, we will say so here and ask you first.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your information. We only share it with the companies that help us run the service: our web hosting provider, our email provider, Shopify and its payment and subscription partners (for orders), and postcodes.io (for the postcode checker, as above).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or move it to someone else. You can also object to us using it. To do any of these, use our contact page.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
